Ann Arbor Doulas | info@annarbordoulas.com | (734) 800-1854
Let’s talk about ways I can support you!
Brook, born and raised in Michigan, is described as encouraging, compassionate, and fun by many who've met her, really, just ask! Brook takes being a doula to heart, she has cultivated projecting the qualities of strength and tenacity onto others as needed while still holding space in the sacred times of need. Her strength was taught to her by her role model, her own mother. Brook's love for helping and serving others from a young age has played a tremendous role in her becoming a doula. After going through her own birth and postpartum experiences, this is always her advice for new parents: "Make your pregnancy and birthing experience your own journey. We tend to compare it to others but everyone has their own; stay present to make your own story and enjoy every moment."
Doula trained and certified with ProDoula in 2021, combined with her 13 years of customer service experience, Brook is able to lead with empathy and understanding of others. A recently trained Survivor Moms Tutor, her passion for continuing education is never fleeing as she has a goal to become a lactation consultant. She has confidently supported many families in the Metro-Detroit area in addition to being a beacon of resources and connections required of their personalized care. Brook also has been featured at the Birth Center at Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital in Ann Arbor. While she loves the beauty and joy of birth support, the comfort care and importance of postpartum support became her soft spot.
In Brook's free time, she loves to hang out with family and friends and catch up on her favorite shows such as Chicago Med, and Law & Order: SVU. She resides in Canton, Michigan with her beautiful son Myles and also has a niece and 2 nephews that she refers to as her “nephsons”. She hopes to connect and learn more about you and your family soon!
