About Me I have had many different jobs in my life and none that have been as satisfying and as rewarding as working with pregnant women and their families. In 2000, I became involved with Lamaze Family Center when I was looking for a part-time job that would allow me the ability to work but also be available for my children. Once working, I quickly realized that I had found my passion in life and became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator with Lamaze International. Beginning in April of 2005, I was appointed executive director of Lamaze Family Center Ann Arbor. In addition to teaching childbirth classes, I have also taught infant care, postpartum mother’s support groups and parent/toddler playgroups. I am a mother of four amazing children, who were born here in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I've lived since 1993 with my husband Kurt.

Doula Services As a partner in Ann Arbor Doulas, I work to support women and their families in a non-judgmental way. We provide loving, knowledgeable, and trained support during pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. It is our job to provide the support necessary for the woman and the family to have the birth experience they hope for. We understand that the transition to motherhood is a very exciting, but challenging time. Through our support, we can help make that transition a time of celebration. I offer birth doula services in Ann Arbor, Michigan, if you are delivering at either St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, or Women's Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Other Services I offer private, three-hour, private childbirth education sessions and a four-hour labor support class. These sessions will be customized to meet your needs.
